Well. 2017 sure started off interestingly. I’m not sure what else to say. Because if I get started about some of the things happening in January, I’m not sure I’ll start. So I’m just going to say that, at least in regards to books, it sure has started off as a great year! And I’m hoping that continues for the rest of the year because I really (really, really, really, really) think we’re going to need them. Or whatever it is that makes you happy, hold on to those things. Tightly. And while you’re doing that, check out what happened this month on the blog!

Most Exciting Book Mail

I didn’t get a lot of physical book mail this month but I did get some really good eARC approvals!

Besides this, I did get to go to ALAMW and picked up so many great books. I haven’t taken one photo with all of the books but here are a couple of my most exciting finds:

Coming Up On the Blog

I’m actually really excited for what’s coming up in February on the blog! I have several blog tours scheduled and some really exciting giveaways planned beyond just the normal Friday ARC and new release giveaways! So definitely stick around for those. I also have reviews for Daughter of the Pirate King, the new Simon Thorn book, The Impostor Queen and The Cursed Queen, and maybe a couple more. I still have several February review books to read so if I’m really lucky, I’ll get those read and reviewed next month as well.

I started a weekly newsletter at the beginning of January and will continue that as well. If you’d like to sign up, you can do that below where it says “Subscribe to our mailing list”.

I hope you guys all have a great February!

I hear Valiant is really good. I’ve recommended it to our library. Queens of Geek sounds like a great read too. I’m starting Caraval this weekend. Just finished up Tapping the Billionaire by Monroe and halfway through Something Strange and Deadly at home. At work I am just about done with One Paris Summer and starting To Catch A Killer.
