Diverse Reading Challenge

The Diverse Reads Book Challenge is hosted by Chasing Faerytales and Read.Sleep.Repeat. This is another new one for me this year and I’m really excited to be more aware of the books and the characters I’m reading and making sure I’m supporting books that feature diversity. The goal is to read twelve, one per month. I’m going to try and follow their monthly guide. Here are the books I’m planning to read for this challenge (though I don’t know if I’ll follow it exactly):

January – The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh or The Star-Touched Queen
February – The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
March – You’re Welcome, Universe by Whitney Gardner
April – The Anatomical Shape of a Heart by Jenn Bennett or Cold Summer by  Gwen Cole
May – Written in the Stars by Aisha Saeed
June – Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit by Jaye Robin Brown
July – When the Moon was Ours by Anna Marie McLemore
August – City of Saints and Thieves by Natalie C.Anderson
