Reading Queue is a monthly meme hosted by Books: A True Story where we can get together and talk about the books we hope to read in the coming month and the books we read last month. So write up your own Reading Queue post and then go check them out!

February was a really good reading month for me but I was horrible at sticking to my TBR this month. I had already started Outlander but I haven’t finished it yet and the only other book I started from my list I ended up DNFing. So not great at all. Maybe I’ll be better in March! Here are the books I did read in February –

February Reads

Stars Above (The Lunar Chronicles) The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks

Stars Above by Marissa Meyer and The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks: I read Stars Above as soon as I got my hands on it and love it so much! These characters are my favorites. I read TDHoFLB because E. Lockhart was coming to town. I didn’t love it like everyone else seems to and I ended up sick and couldn’t even go to the event.

Kill the Boy Band My Heart is Yours

Kill the Boy Band by Goldy Moldavsky and My Heart is Yours by Amanda Leigh: I enjoyed KtBB for what it was but I think it’ll be a tough one for many people. It’s dark, twisted humor and makes fun of fans and fandoms. But if you enjoy dark humor, I think you’ll like it. My Heart is Yours is one I’m participating in a blog tour for in March so check it out in a couple of weeks!

Animal Magnetism (Animal Magnetism, #1) The Distance from A to Z

Animal Magnetism by Jill Shalvis and The Distance from A to Z by Natalie Blitt: I read both of these contemporary romances on a whim after buying them and enjoyed them both. I wasn’t blown away by either but they’re definitely fun.

This Is My Brain on Boys I, Robot (Robot, #0.1)

This is My Brain on Boys by Sarah Strohmeyer and I, Robot by Isaac Asimov: I love Sarah Strohmeyer but this one was not my favorite of hers. Still fun but the MC was a little hard to take at times. And I, Robot. Ugh. We did not get along.

Wink Poppy Midnight

Wink Poppy Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke: One of my most anticipated books of the spring and I’m still trying to figure out what went on!

March Reads

When We Collided Walk the Edge (Thunder Road, #2)

When We Collided by Emery Lord and Walk the Edge by Katie McGarry: Holy cow, I’m excited for these books! I’m so excited to be reading When We Collided right now and so far, it’s wonderful. And Jaime from Fiction Fare sent me an ARC of Walk the Edge and I’m dying because I’m a huge Katie McGarry fan and will be reading this one ASAP!

The Mirror King (The Orphan Queen, #2) A Tyranny of Petticoats: 15 Stories of Belles, Bank Robbers & Other Badass Girls

The Mirror King by Jodi Meadows and A Tyranny of Petticoats: Two more super exciting books coming up soon! If you haven’t read The Orphan Queen yet, GO DO THAT!!

Flamecaster (Shattered Realms, #1) Every Move (Every, #3)

Flamecaster by Cinda Williams Chima and Every Move by Ellie Marney: I’m really excited for Flamecaster and that it’ll be my first Chima book! And Every Move finally showed up after ordering it weeks ago and I’m so excited to start it!! I definitely recommend this series if you’re a Sherlock/mystery fan and want a little romance mixed in.

Me Before You (Me Before You, #1) An Ember in the Ashes (An Ember in the Ashes, #1)

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes and An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir: In February, Jason picked I, Robot for our He Said/She Said book. This month, I’m picking a book I really want to read. All I know about it is what I saw in the trailer but I’m really looking forward to reading it and I’m dying to know what Jason will think. Especially because this is so far away from what he typically reads. So make sure you check back later in the month for our joint review! And Ember is the book club pick this month. I’m looking forward to seeing what all the buzz is about this book! Our book club hasn’t met for a few months, since the holidays were so crazy for all of us, but I’m really hoping we can meet this month!

What do you guys hope to read in March?
