Captain of the soccer team, president of the Debate Club, contender for valedictorian: Taylor’s always pushed herself to be perfect. After all, that’s what is expected of a senator’s daughter. But one impulsive decision—one lie to cover for her boyfriend—and Taylor’s kicked out of private school. Everything she’s worked so hard for is gone, and now she’s starting over at Hundred Oaks High.
Soccer has always been Taylor’s escape from the pressures of school and family, but it’s hard to fit in and play on a team that used to be her rival. The only person who seems to understand all that she’s going through is her older brother’s best friend, Ezra. Taylor’s had a crush on him for as long as she can remember. But it’s hard to trust after having been betrayed. Will Taylor repeat her past mistakes or can she score a fresh start?
You guys know I love the Hundred Oaks series, right? And that I totally think you all should read them, right? Well, good. Because I love these books. They’re perfect for when you want romance and sports and just a little bit of serious issues to go along with it. They aren’t total fluff but they don’t ever get too serious either. And I love them. They’re always a perfect read. I most often recommend Catching Jordan and Breathe, Annie, Breathe because they are my favorites of them all. But I’m really excited for this one! It’s soccer and the brother’s best friend trope. Who doesn’t love that? And I know this one doesn’t come out until July and that’s a really long time to wait (believe me, I know! I’m dying to get my hands on it too!) but there are six other books in the series you can read until then! And on July 1, I think you know where I’ll be! Hiding in my room with this book!
What are some of your favorite sports romances?
