It’s time to start thinking about November books! Can you guys believe it?! I certainly can’t. I think I’ve entered the denial stage of holiday planning. Once November comes, we have both kids’ birthdays, then Thanksgiving, four more family birthdays, and then Christmas. The end of the year is always so busy around here, but in a good way. There’s just always that time before that keeps me from believing it’s actually that time again.
But deny it or not, November is just about here! And, as usual, the new month brings great new books. I have my eye on a few already but am adding some more after making this list. With the exception of a few that are highly anticipated, a bunch seem to have gone under the radar. Or maybe that’s just me. I, personally, am super excited for Manners & Mutiny. This series by Gail Carriger has some of the most fun characters I’ve read and I’m dying to find out what’s going to happen after the ending in the last book! Also, I read The Fixer by Jennifer Lynn Barnes this summer and loved it so I think I need to read her Naturals series now and the third book comes out in November. And I’ve heard great things about The Anatomical Shape of a Heart! I’m so excited for these books! And I know there are a bunch of sequels coming out this month that a lot of you guys are looking forward to. I just haven’t read the previous books for most of them.
Note: The Vanishing Throne by Elizabeth May (The Falconer #2) will be released in the UK on November 19, 2015 but not released in the US until June 2016. 🙁 I was really looking forward to this one but wasn’t paying enough attention to release dates. Guess another seven or eight months of waiting isn’t much…
If you guys are fans of preordering books, you should head over to Fiction Fare to see some of the pre-order deals they’ve rounded up. I saw one for Winter, Soundless, Hello?, and The Lies about Truth. And, as always, you can find these books on Amazon and The Book Depository.
What are you guys most excited to read in November?
