November was quite a month! For those of us in the US that celebrate, it was Thanksgiving. And both of my kids had birthdays this month! I’m now a mom to a nine year old and a six year old. Don’t even talk to me about it! It’s so hard to believe just a few years ago they were chubby toddlers. I love who they are now, though, and am loving getting to watch them grow up. Also, the kids and I tagged along on one of my husband’s business trips to Arizona in the middle of the month. It was amazing! I’ve never been to Arizona or the Grand Canyon and all of it was beautiful and warm and sunshiny! It was hard coming back to Ohio, thought it hasn’t been crazy cold and we are snow-free for now. But I can’t wait to go back and see more of the west!
Because the month was so crazy, I didn’t read nearly as much as I had hoped and wanted to. It was a nice break and good timing, since I have no more review books due before the end of the year. But I had hoped to get some books that I missed earlier in the year done and get ahead with some January books. But it just looks like I have to do some of that in December instead. There’s just so many things that need to get done these couple of months that it’s harder to brush them off to sit and read than usual. I’m only a few books off from my Goodreads Reading Challenge, so I’m not worried I won’t make that, at least. I just need to sit back and remember to relax in the evenings. I miss reading when I can’t do it as much!

November ended up not being such a bad month here on the blog. After a crazy October and having no plan for November whatsoever, I’m happy with what I accomplished. Once again for December, I have no plan. I’m working on just keep afloat and going day-to-day. I just can’t seem to get ahead between preparing for the holidays, celebrating tons of family birthdays, reading as much as I want, and all of the other every day things, I just can’t get past the next couple of days on the blog. I don’t mind, it’s how I blog much of the time, I just really enjoy being ahead. It feels so much more relaxing! I do know that there will be two giveaways up on the blog this month and some fun, random posts as well. So make sure you come back!
What is your favorite holiday movie? Mine’s Elf and I can’t wait to watch it!!
