Guys, I’m dying that May is over already. It went so fast I feel like I hardly had any time to breathe. Both my kids finished school for the year, we finished soccer and started baseball, we had a dance show, and I went to NYC for BookCon. It was a really great month, one that made me feel so thankful for my kids and family and the opportunities that are available to us. Now that my kids are getting older, it’s so much fun to watch them participating in the activities that they love doing and see them making friends and doing well in school. They both had great years and it was hard to say goodbye to our teachers but we’re excited to move on to third grade and kindergarten! I can hardly believe that either! But I’m pretty sure you guys aren’t here to hear about my life so I’ll get back to books and the blog.
One quick note. Now that it’s summer and my kids are home with me all the time, I probably won’t be posting as often as I do during the year. I’ll still be here several days a week, but it will not be everyday. I’ll still be around Twitter and Goodreads and reading your comments and reading books, but you just might notice several days between posts. Or you may not. I don’t know. Just giving you a heads up. It’s harder for me to spend a lot of time on the computer during the summer months.
Just in case your May was super busy like mine and you missed a few things here while out doing stuff, here is what happened during May on the blog:
Top Ten Tuesday: Young Adult Books Adults Should Read
Top Ten Tuesday: Top Books About Friendship
Top Ten Tuesday: Top Books I Almost Put Down But Didn’t
Top Ten Tuesday: Top Covers I Would Frame as Works of Art
Life of a Blogger: Pet Peeves
Favorite Reads in May:
I loved all three of these books. Veronica Mars was so much fun! I miss the show and it was just like watching an episode!
Coming up in June
I know I said June would probably be a little slower than school year months, but I still have stuff for you to look forward to! Look for reviews of The Art of Lainey and Say What You Will. Also, I’ll have Mini Reviews for The Falconer and The Winner’s Curse. I’ll also have another New Release Giveaway and a Guest Post with author Nick Lake. As well as other posts and reviews that are yet to be decided on.
Thanks for sticking around and for another great month on the blog. You guys are the awesome-est.
