Reading Queue

Siege and Storm (The Grisha, #2) How My Summer Went Up in Flames

Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo and How My Summer Went Up in Flames by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski: I’ve started both of these already and hope to finish them this coming week.

Dare You To (Pushing the Limits, #2) Catching Liam

Dare You To by Katie McGarry and Catching Liam by Sophia Bleu are up next. These are both review books but I’m super excited about Dare You To because I loved Pushing the Limits and I’ve been hearing lots of great things about this one too!

Weather Witch Breathe (Breathe, #1)

Weather Witch by Shannon Delany and Breathe by Sarah Crossan: If I get through the others, these are next on the list. Weather Witch is getting some pretty mixed reviews so I’m not sure how that’ll go and I just got Breathe from ARCycling, so I’m pretty excited about that one!

Dance of the Red Death (Masque of the Red Death, #2) The Moon and More

Dance of the Read Death by Bethany Griffin and The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen: I’m not sure if I’ll get to these or not but these are two books releasing in June that I’m really excited about!

Read in May

The End Games Golden

The End Games by T. Michael Martin had an interesting take on zombies and a really great brother relationship and Golden by Jessi Kirby was an awesome contemporary full of mystery, coming-of-age angst, and romance.

Drowning in You (Finding Forever In Us, #1) The Book of Broken Hearts

Drowning in You by Rebecca Berto is a NA contemporary romance between a girls who’s parents are killed in a ski lift accident and the boy who was working when it happened and The Book of Broken Hearts by Sarah Ockler is about a group of sisters, the boys they vow to stay away from, and how one sister and one boy accidentally fall in love while working with her ailing father.

Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1)

Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins is actually a book I DNFed this month. I just didn’t like the characters all that much and wasn’t really into it. Now I wonder what’s wrong with me because everybody loves this book. Oh well.

What books are you planning on reading this month? Share them in the comments or make your own post and link up over at Books: A True Story or Book Tasty!

  1. Thanks so much for joining us! We’re small, but I hope others will join up soon as well. It’ll be cool to see what everyone is planning on reading. I haven’t read any on your queue this month, but I do want to get to How My Summer Went Up in Flames sometime this summer. 🙂

  2. I can’t wait to read Siege and Storm! I totally forgot it came out this month. You read some great books in May. Golden has gotten so many great reviews. That’s too bad about the DNF with Sweet Evil. I haven’t read it but I can’t stand books where I don’t like the characters. Thank you so much for joining our meme! Hope you have fun with it 🙂
